Veterans Day 2009 – God Bless Our Military

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_eBLT52uLZU0/SRnFh4EJeAI/AAAAAAAAAAk/Yaxa9s10kIo/s400/VeteransDay.jpgMay God bless and protect all our Veterans.

Freedom is not free! It is due to the veterans’ sacrifices and constant vigilance that we still have all our freedoms and liberties.

To every man and woman who preserved my liberty this year, and for all of you who have ever proudly worn our Nation’s uniform, I say, “Thank you!

You seek neither glory nor riches, nor even fame.  You are our best, our brightest, our bravest.  Please always know that even when we don’t show it, we love you.  We appreciate you.  We thank you.  And we will never forget you or forsake you.

Fly your U.S. flag today and thank a veteran.

  1. Freedom is not free. All Americans have the veterans and current active duty military personnel to thank for having the freedom that we enjoy so much in the United States.

Many Americans lost their lives, in order to ensure that America would retain its freedom. We can never thank America’s veterans enough for putting their lives on the line to protect our freedom.

  2. You’re absolutely right George. And these brave men and women put “their lives on the line to protect our freedom” VOLUNTARILY. Talk about courage, loyalty, and love for their neighbor and country!
