Interesting. I am always a little turned off by the hyper-introspection and self-importance of musicians and their fan(actic)s, but many of the tunes he played (especially toward the end) were haunting. Interesting to note the Hasidic “emotionalism” and importance they put on the music, similar to Pentecostals…
