What's that smell in this room? Didn't you notice it, Brick? Didn't you notice the powerful and obnoxious odor of mendacity in this room? There ain't nothin' more powerful than the odor of mendacity. You can smell it. It smells like death.
Big Daddy Pollitt to son Brick in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

Why are MTV, CBS, and Viacom lying about the "unrehearsed," "accidental," and "unfortunate" exposing of Janet Jackson's breast during her performance with Justin Timberlake at the Super Bowl half time show?

Timberlake blames a wardrobe malfunction. Wardrobe malfunction? Good thing that Jackson just happened to be wearing a sun shaped pasty. You never know when your wardrobe might malfunction in front of 90 million viewers.

Angry viewers jammed CBS phone lines outraged that Jackson flashed their kids. In no time the media spin machines churned out denials. "I am sorry that anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance of the Super Bowl," Timberlake said in a statement. "It was not intentional and is regrettable." Anyone smell a powerful and obnoxious odor?

Nobody knew that Timberlake would rip off Janet's costume, or so goes the dissembling. But someone must have known that they would sing "I'll Get You Naked by the End of This Song." Who decided that the song was appropriate?

We are left with one of two scenarios. Either the flashing was planned from the beginning and everyone underestimated the wave of revulsion it would cause, or Timberlake became so excited that he sexually assaulted Jackson on live TV. (Where are the feminists when you need them?)

The left doesn't get it. The media elite doesn't get it. Hollywood doesn't get it. The majority of Americans are tired of the sick, narcissistic, self promotion of these perpetual adolescents bent on corrupting our children with their lewd, lascivious, and lecherous performances. We don't want and more prurient and tasteless "art" shoved down our throats.

A recent Zogby poll revealed that 96 percent of parents want abstinence based sex education taught in the schools. The sexually permissive cultural elite is losing the battle for the hearts and souls of our children. It's because parents are taking back the power.

That's one reason for CBS, MTV, and Viacom's swift distancing from Jackson and Timberlake's crude performance (never mind that MTV is the king of crude). Parents control money, and in big media money talks. Parents boycotted Abercrombie and Fitch at Christmas and caused a 13 percent drop in sales. A & F got the message. Their soft-core porn catalog was discontinued.

When parents reassert control over our what media feeds our children, the elites push more deviancy although they gift wrap it first. The NBC alternative to the Super Bowl was the "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy Marathon." What do you say to an eight year old who asks, "What does 'Queer Eye for a Straight Guy' mean, mommy?" "Honey, they are nice homosexuals that try to make husbands, fathers, brothers, and boyfriends into metrosexuals."

Many people said that the Britany and Madonna kiss was much ado about nothing. Tell that to my eight-year-old daughter. And tell that to the young girls who engage in behavior described with new cultural moniker "heteroflexible." Lisa Diamond, assistant professor of psychology at the University of Utah, said females from age 16 through 23 increasingly engage in a whole range of sexual behaviors. "They've gone from unlabeled to bisexual, lesbian to bisexual, lesbian to heterosexual and (may get) married, but may be attracted to women in the future," she told the Washington Post.

These entertainers are paid huge sums of money to prostitute themselves for big media. Their hedonism and sexual promiscuity is glamorized and our kids are unwitting johns in their prostitution.

"There ain't nothin' more powerful than the odor of mendacity. You can smell it. It smells like death." Someone at CBS, MTV, and Viacom is lying to the American people and it stinks. Call it a culture of deceit.
