A new study on cloning shows more than ever it's probably a very bad idea to replicate human beings.
The study, performed by researchers at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research in Boston, found that cloning to create new animals will almost always create an abnormal creature.
...The results could be the nail in the coffin for would-be human cloners.
"... This is a scientist who has climbed into (the) pulpit and has his sermons published on the National Academy of Sciences website," said Randolfe Wicker, founder of the Clone Rights United Front and the Human Cloning Foundation.
"...cloning for the purpose of producing another human being is completely unsafe and unethical," the release said.
